Hide "hidden" program statuses from Members tab in Programs

When customizing our Channel program statuses, we have hidden specific Marketo "default" statuses.  These hidden statuses are still listed as values when filtering by specific values, causing a lot of confusion for our field marketers.  Please only show those values that are active.

It shouldn't do that since the intent is that you don't want to use those program statuses.  I have logged a ticket with Engineering to fix this.

Hi Cheryl.  I logged a support ticket several weeks ago.  Support told me this was intended behavior in case an older program had previously used one of the hidden fields.  Doesn't make much sense to me. Isn't that the purpose of hiding them?

Here is the response I received from Support:

I got word back from engineering, the reason the hidden statuses remain on the filter is because they might still apply to leads before the status was marked as hidden.

It's not something that can be applied to a new lead as a status, it's there in order to filter for leads who may have had it applied to them before it was hidden.

If I recall correctly.  On programs that were created in the past, if a field is hidden its still suppossed to be visible for reporting purposes.  But in programs that are created going forward, they should only show the new fields that were not hidden.

These hidden fields are visible for EVERY program where this specific channel is being used.  Cheryl, have you received a response from Engineering?

Hey Dan,

I'm working with Engineering on this b/c as Jonathan noted, we want the behavior to be different for new programs versus old programs that had used the program status in the past.  When I have more details, I'll let you know.

Thanks,
Cheryl
