It will be great if we can have the visibility for the sync progress. The sync status really does not mean anything. I always have to open up support tickets to find out the sync progress.
As someone who has sync backlog issues with frustrating regularity, this would be HUGE. I know support can see the Progress Log tab that shows sync progress... maybe I'll just keep opening cases weekly or daily for insight into it until they get so frustrated they just make it available to all of us!
I need this functionality! Our business has multiple SQL processes the run daily, weekly, monthly across all our data and of course sometimes these processes cause a massive backlog in synch time. I never know about it until I get a case stating that a newly created contact hasn't synched for our user to use Sales Insight. My only option is to log a case to Marketo Support for someone to run the log and tell me how long it's going to take so I can pass this information on. Administrators should have this functionality!!!!
Agreed 100%! We selected Marketo primarily on the basis of the alleged seamless integration with SFDC. Now we are in the position of trying to explain to users (power and otherwise) why a campaign update didn't take place and that we have no idea if or when an update is going to show up in Marketo (and vice-versa)...seems like we made the wrong decision. At a minimum we (as admins) should the ability to see the logs to give us some ability to tell the users to be patient or know to start troubleshooting. I would image that this would reduce the load on Marketo's support team as well as I suspect that we're not the only ones with this frustration.
I have seen in the next release that there is a report for Microsoft Dynamics customers? So would be nice to know when it will be available for SFDC Customers.
