Download Asset Trigger/Filter

As we continue the use of Content Programs to build and measure interactions with various pieces of content, the use of Clicks Link or Visits web page becomes very complex. It would be very useful to have a Downloads Asset trigger/filter for use in measuring creative assets like pdfs and inforgraphic files. Not sure would that would entail, but it would sure help us out a lot. Thanks.

I agree!  

We've been using a workaround where I have a forms with just the submit button that goes to the url of the pdf.  Then I can build a list on who has downloaded.  Only works if we are using it in a marketo landing page.  Need a solution for other links.

Keeping content programs updated wih all the potential URL links is nearly impossible. A Trigger for whenever the asset is downloaded would be so much easier to maintain. Thanks for voting for the idea.
