When creating landing pages, we often have to match font or shape colors to images or branding guides. Having a color picker in the landing page editor would make for a more efficient work flow.
Hi Lee, even though there isn't anything like a color picker right now--we standardized everything by adding some CSS to our landing page templates that automatically changes the color and style of elements if they are headers, or even by what we named their page element. (For example, automatically turn Header 1 text orange, or automatically round the corners of images when they are dragged onto the page, etc.) We added automatic styles on forms, too.
It definitely has made it faster to build page new pages and keep the look and feel consistent!
We do use default headings but sometimes we have a situation where we need a special color used that is not in the standard set. I use Firefox color pickers and Chrome addons as well, but I have a coworker who had never used them with Marketo before. It is one of those "nice to have" features that keep people's frustration levels down when they are on a deadline and have to do a stand alone change. Thanks for your help!
