Alert Email Token for Recipients

Alert Email Token for Recipients

I'm finding that when using the tokens for an alert email, there is no option of addressing the emial to the recipient. The token works for the "lead" and "lead owner" but no love for the recipient, in which this case, the marketing team invovled in the email campaign 😞

If we can have a token for the "recipient" that would be great!

We're using local program tokens for our email alerts.  We define the field marketer/country marketing manager (CMM) in the flow step once someone fills out a form:

Hi Dan - Thanks for the tip! However, I'd like to alert more than 1 person on the marketing team, do you have a tip for this? I don't want to have to create 3 different fields/tokens. I'm still farily new at this, so please, the more details the better!

Thanks again!

Hi Elaine - when you create the token at the program/folder level (like we've done here), you can enter as many email addresses as you'd like - with each email address separated by a semi-colon:

Dan,
Do you know if you can use a dynamic field for the alert? I want to alert the rep associated with the lead, we are using our system standalone so the lead owner is not an option. I tried using the email alert token and putting in lead.Rep_Email_Adress ( a custom field) and haven't had any luck getting it to work.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Cristin

Cristin - are you asking if you can use a token within a token?  If so, I don't think so.  But what I described above should be a solution to your use case.  We too are not using the lead owner value from CRM.  We're using a standalone value "CMM Email Address".

Dan,
Thanks for your quick reply, and your help.

It looks like you are using the "text" token, and with that token you have to specify a value.  I need the value to be a dynamic field (for us it's lead.Rep_Email_Address). Otherwise all the reps I add as values will get notified when the qualifying event happens.  I tried using the "email script" token and choosing my lead.Rep_Email_Address field as the value but doesn't yield any results.

In that case, you should enter {{lead.Rep_Email_Address}} directly within the Send Alert flow action - like I have done above for CMM email address.  Have you tried that?

That worked, thank you. I guess I was over complicating it...I could have swore I tried that first.
