In the Field Management area of admin, you may have noticed that in the search results in the right panel, you can simply click the result in addition to clicking and dragging and dropping onto the canvas to use that result. Clicking saves a bit of time than clicking and then dragging and dropping.
I then realized that this functionality is not available when searching filters for smart lists or flow steps for smart campaigns and adding them. When you click those results, they only highlight and nothing actually happens. You have to click and drag and drop onto the canvas to actually use those results. I realize this may be by design so that you consciously have to place the filter or flow step in the correct order. But I believe Marketo should be intuitive enough to know that adding another filter or flow step should add it to the bottom of the list (for triggers they would add them to the bottom of the triggers list before listing the filters).
Imagine the overall time this could save you by saving that one second here and there by only having to click to add a filter to a smart list or flow step to a smart campaign as opposed to having to click and then drag and drop. Saving so much time that in fact, you can go to a smart list or smart campaign and quickly choose all the filters/flow steps you need so they are on the canvas and then you can rearrange them as needed.
Current: you have to click and drag and drop onto the canvas
Proposed: simply click to add the filter/flow step onto the canvas = time saving
