To really make the best out of Marketo's Add to Calendar feature, there should be an option to sync it to an individuals google calendar. Would definitely use the Add to Calendar feature more if this was available.
There are a lot of vendors out there that outsource this type of integration (for a price) -- but it would be nice in Marketo integrated one or developed their own... definitely a use for it, for sure!!
This is something i'm looking to implement for quite a while. This webinar invite email that i just received from Marketo, had this feature which seamlessly added to my google calendar in a single click!! That's exactly what i wanted.
What you're seeing is not a Marketo feature, it's a Gmail feature. However, it's not quite as seamless as clicking "add to calendar" and having the correct info populate in the calendar.
That's true. I'm aware that it was google's feature and not Marketo's. I meant to use this feature of google/gmail (which i agree is not hassle free) until Marketo rolls out their 'Add to Calendar' .
