Sending a simple e-mail to contacts without making them leads

Dear all,

Our accountmanagers have asked me to send out invites for an event all of their prospects. Ofcourse we have the names and e-mail addresses.

Is there a way for me to send out these e-mails, without having to upload these prospects as 'leads' in Marketo?

Are these prospects not already in Marketo? If not, you will need to import them as "leads" otherwise Marketo cannot email them.
