Hi all,
For about 2/3 days, the community has become difficult to use. Most of the scripts do not load/and or execute on the pages. Very often, some functionalities just do not respond and I have reload the page 3/4 times before it works. Search dialog, discussion or idea creation, adding comments, editing profile, etc... all is impacted.
I have tried various accounts and various Mac and Windows browsers, with the same result.
I have cleansed the browsers history and files, same result...

Unless I hear any objections, I am going to move this treat to my archive.... We can start a new one if you are still experiencing issues. Not trying to hide the past. Just focus on the present and future... Also, I created this form for future site issues: Community Website Issues
Just want an easier way to track things. Thank you for all your help! As I mentioned to Dan Stevens this am, we are still testing out a number of things to get the performance up to snuff....
Here's some more Safari interface issues - this one taken from the Ideas home page:
Thank you!! Very helpful...
Looks like this issue is affecting all three browsers. Even Safari started to exhibit all behaviors after I posted my reply above. I then navigated to another post, hit "reply" and nothing. I had to manually refresh my browser. And Safari is the only browser where a manual refresh will help. FF and Chrome are both completely unusable.
I have two other issues, which have been happening more today:
- The select box on the first page of the Discussions list does not work or react unless I refresh the page.
-Sometimes the Reply to Person link just has "javascript void(0)" when I hover.
OK> Will relay this info to Jive.
I have opened a case and am working with Jive on resolving this issue. We had a release Friday night, so that might be impacting things. Although, I know Josh has had some issues since early last week.
Scott
Hi Scott K. Wilder,
My own problems have also started before the Friday release. For me at the moment, the community is almost impossible to use. I have to reload each page 3/4 times, they take forever to load and some functionality won't work whatever I do.
-Greg
I am working on this issue now..
Are Greg and I the only ones experiencing these issues?
nope! see my reply above.
Scott and I tried a screenshare, but my issues are intermittent and there isn't much commonality other than it happens when I try to reply to a post.
Hi Scott K. Wilder
I experience these very same problems with various browsers (Chrome and FF on Mac and Windows 10).
-Greg
I'm experiencing several issues this morning:
I found two additional issues:
All of the links on the right side of the page (Discussions) are inactive as well:
Also, unable to mark a reply as "correct answer" for discussion posts that I initiated.
Looks like the Support Portal is affected as well. When I click on "My Cases", I'm taken to a blank screen (I should see about 5 active cases). This happens on all browsers and operating systems.
Dan, Scott-
I agree, there are lots of issues on Safari - I am using the latest 9.0 and Yosemite. I can never click on a link a community updates email and have it open via Safari - it goes into some endless SSO loop. I usually have to copy the link and open them in Firefox.
Loving the community so far, but hope these issues get ironed out.
BTW Scott K. Wilder, is there a way to submit feedback / problem reports about the community to the community managers?
Are you have this issue once you are logged in?
Where is the link: Community Updates?
Can you send a screen shot of your problem...
Thanks.
The SSO thing happens when I click on a link, which takes me to the login page and I fill in my credentials and hit login. I see something like "Forwarding to login...." for a few seconds and then a Safari error like the one attached. Hope this helps.
