Nielsen needs Product Marketing Manager
Nielsen is advancing digital advertising with unparalleled marketing effectiveness measurement. Nielsen’s Product Marketing team sits at the heart of this transformation. We are responsible for the positioning, pricing, marketing strategy, and go-to-market execution of industry leading measurement products, including Online Campaign Ratings (OCR), Online Brand Effect (OBE), and TV Brand Effect (TVBE). Our entrepreneurial team of six supports hundreds of client service professionals across the world as they deliver insights to their clients. Our mission is to grow to support all of Nielsen’s products, across both the Watch and Buy sides of the business.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be an integral part of driving the commercial support of your focus product – think “CMO.”
Specific responsibilities will include:

Specific responsibilities will include:
- Defining the story we want to tell in the marketplace, collaborating with sales and product leaders to develop the positioning, packaging, and pricing for our capabilities and products
- Developing, leading, and executing product launches and new feature releases
- Working with communications teams to develop marketing plans that effectively tell our story, shaping perception around our key messages and building sales pipeline
- Working with our account management and research teams, and with clients, to develop thought leadership / content assets, including case studies, whitepapers, and event presentations
- Developing the materials needed by our sales team to close business, including sales decks, value propositions for different audiences, and competitive intelligence; and providing training to ensure they are informed and prepared to win in the market

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree required, Masters degree a plus

3+ years experience in marketing and/or sales for major B2B technology brands, preferably those focused on digital media and ad tech
Key Skills/Competencies - Understanding of the overall media and measurement/analytics landscape in advertising and marketing trends.
- Experience with Nielsen’s marketing effectiveness products (including OCR, OBE, and/or TVBE) and/or competitors’ products
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including both marketing copy and analytical writing
- Strong analytical skills. Proven problem-solving skills using deductive reasoning, understanding hierarchical relationships and identifying gaps in logic.
- Strong project management skills. Extremely organized and highly motivated, attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally across many teams to achieve a common goal
- Self-starter, able to drive projects independently with minimal direction and supervision
