Hello!
We have a pretty unique situation with our lead nurture program where we would like to make a lead skip certain emails if they have already taken a certain action and move on to the next email in the stream. Is there a way to skip an email in a stream without having to deconstruct the stream and make smart campaigns for all of our stream emails?
Has anyone had a situation like this? I would love to learn how you tackled it.
Much Appreciated,
Shelly
Hi Shelly,
Advice: you should not post your questions in the champions group if you expect an answer Read Getting the most of the community when you have a Marketo question
You will have to use a nested program to do so. Add a Program to an Engagement Program Stream - Marketo Docs - Product Docs

Thanks for your help and advice. Appreciate it.
Hi Shelly,
This is quite common for people to have this situation, whereby they want a lead to skip an email if they have completed a certain action.
If you have the emails in different streams you can use the engagement program transition rules to determine when leads should get the next email or you can use nested programs like Greg mentions above which I'm afraid would involve deconstructing the engagement program.
In your nested programs you will have the 'send' smart campaign and within that flow you can add a 'remove from flow' action with conditions. Make sure you have this flow step before the email send. This will remove the lead from that send and it will then be added to the next email send in the stream.
I hope that helps!
Thanks Olivia! This helped tons! Appreciate it.
