We are looking to set up a series of emails that will be triggered to new members of our association at the following intervals:

1 week after joining

3 weeks after joining

5 weeks after joining

7 weeks after joining

11 weeks after joining

13 weeks after joining

15 weeks after joining

24 weeks after joining

Is there a way to do this since the intervals between emails are not the same? It seems that engagement programs require the interval between sends to be the same (i.e. weekly or biweekly, etc.)

Hi Laughlin,

IMHO. You should publish the question in "product" to maximize the number of views and answers

2 techniques here:

1. You use classical smart campaign with wait steps. Inconvenient: not as good as a reporting and not very flexible if you want to change the order of content or add some more in the future
2. You use engagement program. You set the stream to cast weekly and add some smart campaigns to pause leads. Eg:
   • SC 1:
     • trigger : is sent email #1, or email #2, email #3, #5, #6
     • flow :
       • Change Engagement program cadence -> paused
       • wait 8 days (makes sure the following cast is skipped)
       • change engagement program cadence - Normal
   • SC 2:
     • trigger : is sent email #4
     • flow :
       • Change Engagement program cadence -> paused
       • wait 22 days (makes sure the following 3 casts are skipped)
       • change engagement program cadence - Normal
   • SC 3:
     • trigger : is sent email #7
     • flow :
       • Change Engagement program cadence -> paused
       • wait 57 days (makes sure the following 8 casts are skipped)
       • change engagement program cadence - Normal

Of course, there are variants of this. You could set the casts to every 2 weeks, but you would have a trouble having 9 weeks between #6 and #7.
