Maximum campaign membership limit in Email Program

Does anyone know if the campaign membership limit which is set in the Admin, is applied to Email Programs? I can see it is being applied to newly created (not existing) Smart Campaigns and recurring batch campaigns but there is no way to see if it will apply to an Email Program. My guess is that is doesn't apply as I can't see anyway to manually override it but I would like to be sure.

Campaign Limit and Communication Limits are different.

  • Communication Limits apply to Emails of all types.
  • Campaign Limit seems to only apply to Smart Campaigns.


It would be good if an Employee can confirm this.

So we are now finding out the hard way... Email Programs are in fact subject to the Campaign Limit, however is there is no way to manually override the limit before scheduling the email. As an Admin I recevied a notification saying the campaign had been cancelled due to the membership exceeding the limit, in the email it gave me a link to a Smart Campaign which must run in the background behind the Email Program, and from here I was able to manually override the limit and re-run the campaign. - Definitely not ideal!
