Position Title: Sr. Marketing Automation Specialist

The Company

The Role
FireEye is looking for a smart, energetic, and highly motivated marketer to join our growing, world class marketing operations team. The Sr. Marketing Automation Specialist will be a resident expert on marketing data and technology, and help drive best-in-class marketing automation practices across the global marketing organization. This role will be also responsible for the design, quality assurance (QA) execution, maintenance, and reporting for global automated system programs, with a special emphasis on supporting the partner marketing organization. This is the perfect opportunity for a marketer interested in building marketing automation skills and an understanding of data-driven marketing.
Responsibilities
- Support essential marketing operations initiatives, with special emphasis on the partner marketing organization especially as it relates to partner database strategy
- Work cross-functionally to conceptualize and implement advanced automation campaigns
- Act as primary contact for system support to off-shore shared services team
- Create templates and forms for use by others within the marketing organization
- Document marketing automation processes, programs, and procedures
- Project manage and assist in implementation of other marketing ops technologies/infrastructure-related initiatives that touch systems, data flow, and Salesforce integration (including project managing vendors, driving project timeline, UAT, documentation, and implementation)
- Monitor and report on effectiveness metrics related to FireEye’s marketing automation platform
- Build and maintain strong connections and relationships with the other key business functions, including marketing, sales, IT, and finance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- 2+ years of professional work experience preferably in high tech marketing or sales
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce (or similar applications)
Additional Qualification
- Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with channel marketing or channel operations a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript a plus
- A team player who works well independently
- Highly technical with strong analytical problem solving skills and a passion for working with systems/data
- Strong business acumen with desire to think creatively and be innovative
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation – examples of previous work optimal), good organization, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, and work cross-functionally
- Highly motivated, organized, self-starter who thrives in a fast-past environment
