    Opportunities without SalesForce Integration

      Hi everyone, 

      I have searched around the community for people using Opportunitues in Marketo, without any of the supported out of the box CRMs. In short, my questions is - can I use opportunities in that way? I'll create opportunities from a custom CRM via MObject calls, and more specifically, with syncMObjects. From what I see, opportunities can exist in Marketo without being connected to SalesForce/Dynamics/Etc..

      A simple story for us would be later to check if a lead has a given opportunity, by name. The only filter I found for this is "Was Added to Opportunity". Am I on the right path?

      Do you see any drawbacks in this scenario?
