Why does only 7 out of my 35 registered leads have the activity type "Fill out form"...

Hello Marketo Community

I am running an event.

In order to register for this event you have to fill out a form.

The different campaign steps are:

0.Deployment

1.Invited

2.Engaged

3.Registered

I have 35 people that registered for the event.

However, in the 'Results' for the 0.Deployment campaign step, only 8 people have the activity type: "fill out form".

It is the only way to register for the event and I wonder why not all of the 35 registered people have this activity type?

It bugs my mind.

Hi Christoffer,

Is your registration form local asset to program? If NOT how your registration campaign looks like? You also need to check if rest of the leads were imported in program via list import with status Registered.

You may need to check their activity logs.

If registration form is global asset from design studio, make sure to add url of webpage where it resides in smart campaign which is assigning program statuses to grab leads from specific event registrants.

You can also try to create smart list to track registrants which came via form fill out, say - Filled Out Form - Event Registration on landing page "url for your landing page".

If your form was live and later you activated campaign to change program member statues that might be another reason why those leads did not reflect with correct program status, may be those set of leads entered into db prior to campaign activation.

Can you show me what 0 deployment looks like?  What do have for the smart list?

Added to SFDC campaign

Campaign : is : campaign_name

Status : is : invited

It could be that they are not being added to the SFDC campaign.  Can you verify that step for me?

They were being added to the SFDC campaign. Weird!

Anyhow, I appreciate your replies and eagerness to help me but I don't think I will be spending more time on it for this project at least. If it happens again I might return
