When we merge two leads together, we are noticing that the scored of both leads appends to each other, but then it results in double scoring for the lead. Also, the Sales Insight scoring tab doesn't list the scoring activity in order. It looks weird and confuses our Sales reps.
Can anyone explain the Marketo logic for Sales Insight when lead merging happens? How can we avoid the double score for certain activities.
Hi Shirleen, Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent lead scores getting added up when the leads are merged.
However, you can update the lead score of the primary lead to the merged record after Merge.
This is slightly complicated but can help you solve.
