What happens to web traffic history when you merge leads?

I merged two leads - they had different email address, but were the same person (one was name@, one was ops@). The new lead record for name@ has all the SFDC campaigns, but it does not have the corresponding web traffic history. According to SFDC, he was added to our system via a cnv code in March. The web history doesn't start until June so there is no line in the activity log showing them filling out the form.

Is that web history lost? If so, is there a way to maintain it when you merge leads? If not, where is it?
