Hi Debi,
We just went through the process and really like what we can do now.
The highlights for us:
- Labels can now be styled using the Rich Text Editor
- Multiple Fields types have been added to the form designer such as a slider option, url option. These fields contain their own validation rules making sure the data being collected is correct
- Instructions: Creates a tool-tip when user hovers over a field
- Visibility Rules:This functionality removes the necessity of having to have a developer create specific code for some of the most commonly requested form functionality. One of the more common case uses is having a specific field show dependent on the input of another field. ex. Show state field if country is USA. This has meant we could have 1 english form instead of seperate IE v's US EN forms
- Form pre-fill: Now available on the field level as well as the entire form level
- Themes: Seven theme ‘styles’ are available out of the box. You can also view each themes’ CSS to append as necessary which can come in handy on non-Marketo landing pages.
- Language: Choose from multiple languages.
- Locale: used to change the date formatting depending on ones country.
- Progressive profilling: Easily drag and drop fields into your progressive profilling strategy.
- Font family: Google fonts are now available
- If known visitor show: Allows for a form to be replaced with custom html when a visitor returns to a gated asset on your site.
- Social Form Fill: Users can fill form fields by using their social network profiles from LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter. Allows for the collecting of specific data from individual social network.
- Dynamic Follow up: Follow up pages dependent on specific field input
In summary: We see the value for our business and recommend the investment in time and resource for other organizations.
I hope this helps convince you : )
