Hello all,

I created some weekly reports with the setup setting "Created at: This week (M-F) 8 May 2017.... (CEST), but the reports always use Sundays as the starting day. Any ideas, why it's like that and how to change it to Monday?

Thanks and best regards!

Hi Vanessa,

The PC locale does not matter, but your Marketo user time zone may have an impact if it is different from the instance TZ.

  • To define your user TZ, click on your name, then "my account"
  • To define the instance TZ go to admin-> Location.

Otherwise, you are right, there is not option in the admin to define the first day of the week. But what is weird in your case is that you selection is set to M-F, so the fact that some data from a sunday are seletec make me think of a TZ issue.

Hi Vanessa,

Could it be a time zone issue? What is you instance timezone and what is yours ?

Hello Greg,

my instance timezone is GMT + 02:00 (Europe/Berlin) CEST, Locale English (Ireland) and my PC's locale is the same (on the PC, the first day of week is set to monday though). I couldn't find any options in Marketo to change the first day of the week.. Neither in the admin nor in the Analytics section.

Hi Greg,

thanks for the great tip! I had Locale "English (Ireland)"/Timezone (GMT +2:00 CEST) and changed to Locale "English (United Kingdom)", that did the trick. Never thought though that Ireland had a different Work Week than United Kingdom.

Thanks again, Greg!

Hi Vanessa,

It's not a different work week. It is just that with 1h of time difference, Your Monday starts when it's still Sunday 23:00 for the other timezone.
