Trying to decipher Soft Bounces

My campaigns seem to be getting a lot of Soft Bounces. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? We take a lot of care to ensure that our messaging is not "spammy." 

Are Marketo's mailservers on a dynamic IP? That's the only explanation I can come up with for the rates I'm seeing.

Yes Marketo is on a dynamic IP unless you purchase a dedicated IP. We recently ran into a marketo glitch where some old AB test emails were bouncing at 80%. Had to end the tests for the fix. New tests work fine! - Jeff

When you ended the tests, did you also purchase a dedicated IP? What did you do differently going forward?

We aready had a dedicated IP and we have 99% deliverability on most emails other than the glitch I described above. - Jeff

We also had issues with soft bounces.  Found out our DKIM /CNAME was not installed properly.
