Tracking Specific Lead Sources

Tracking Specific Lead Sources

I'm trying to track specific lead sources for the people who come to my site and fill out a form. My company used to use Hubspot, and whenever we got a new lead, it would tell us what URL led a lead to our site. Marketo seems to only allow high-level classification (ex: web) and descriptions (content, webinar, etc.). I'm looking to see the specific URL (ex: www.forbes.com/articleonthisdate).

Has anyone figured out how to do this? And, if you have, can you tell me?

Thanks 🙂

Re: Tracking Specific Lead Sources

The Original Referrer field will have the URL of the first referrer to one of your web pages.  However, it will truncate URLs greater than 255 characters such as those from online ads and google search, so you have to use the "starts with" or "contains" operators on a field filter for this.  You may want to vote for the Change Original Referrer field type from text to text area Idea.
