Top 100 Leads View

Is it possible to create a view, not a report, in SFDC of the top 100 leads, by lead score,  per lead owner and status e.g. engaged.  My use case is that my telemarketing team use the list view to make calls from SFDC (we use the phone field with click to dial via SFDC) and they want to see the top 100 leads they own, and for this to be updated every day.  As they make each call the staus would be updated and they would drop off the list for the day, so seting a target for calls in a day.

I want to see a list of the top 100 leads, by lead score,  that person x owns in status of engaged.

Re: Top 100 Leads View

Hi Mark, you can use the following:

Step 2: My unconverted leads (so each owner will see his own leads)
Filter: Status: "Engaged"
Step 3: display any fields you need (+lead score). I think (not 100% sure) that any user that sees this view will have to sort it initially by lead score (for next times it should be sorted by score automatically)
Step 4: restrict visibility only to the telemarketing team.

Hope that helps

Re: Top 100 Leads View

Hi Itay

Thanks for the above.  That's as far as I have got, but I am looking for a way to limit the list to the top 100 for that person.  I am thinking some kind of ranking formula which updates each night, but am not sure how to achieve that.

The reason to limit to 100 only and not the complete list is to give the users a target of calls to compete in a day that they can see is reducing.  It's purely a display issue to motivate activty over and above hitting 100 i.e. you can see yourlist reducing during the day.  We would set up the filter to remove leads that have had a call that day (automatically logged by CTI, ContactWorld for Salesforce). e.g. Last Activity does not equal TODAY.

I just can't see any easy way to limit to 100.  Setting up an overnight run to update it should be easy but I would need a smart campaign to re-rank every lead overnight and I can't see way to assign a rank to each individual lead.

Re: Top 100 Leads View

What I have done is add the stars and flames fields to the list view layout in Salesforce. This gives the End User the ability to sort by this visualization vs a number and I find recency of engagment to be even more inportant that score most of the time.

Re: Top 100 Leads View

Thanks Mark - our guts use this too.  It's great.

BUT I want to have a field called RANK that ranks every lead (by owner) according to score then filter the list for all leads where RANK is less than or equal to 100.  Because we than track the date of the last activity, my filter for Date of Last Activity does not equal today produces a reducing list so they can see the "target" of completion getting closer.

I've searched a few other forums and don't see a way to do this.  The ranking would have to be re-calculated over night.

Cheers

Re: Top 100 Leads View

Would be fun to try this approach using the out-of-box Sales Insight field "Priority" -Mark
