RTP Increasing Web Load Times?

Can having multiple RTP campaigns active/live at once cause web page load times to increase?

I have seen the RTP campaign itself take ~1-2 seconds to load, so I'm not sure if Jamie's answer is correct.

It will cause some latency, but only in terms of milliseconds.
