I have a batch email send set up with 15 emails to run over the course of about 7 weeks. Is it possible to remove/block an individual from receiving future emails at any point in the process? I updated the smart list but that lead still received the next email in the sequence.

Hi Amy,
If you've got a flow of emails separated by wait steps people only need to qualify at the point of entry.
Even if you change the smart list and they are no longer qualified, once they are in they will keep going until they reach the end.
UNLESS:
You run a flow step: "Remove from Flow"
You can set up a smart campaign (either triggered or batch) and all you need to do is add the step:
and they won't receive any more emails...
That said, nothing else that happens in the flow will happen to them, so if you've got emails mixed with data updates etc. you need to be careful with this.
