We have recently been tasked with syncing our instance to Salesforce. In that process found that our instance was previously (before our current team was in place) synced to Dynamics.
We understand that our current instance can’t be integrated to a new CRM with the previous sync to Dynamics, but read about a Marketo tool posted by Jep Castelein that could help to remove old CRM sync.

Thank you for the response and insight. In your experience, is the next step to have Marketo support create a new instance for us to map the Salesforce sync to, or are other options available?
You next step might be to contact support and check if you could be eligible to test the unsync. Otherwise, you will have to migrate your Marketo instance, which is a huge task... Check if support could clone your instance without the sync. That might be a way to go and save some migration work.
