Random Sample Not Option

We are creating an A/B test campaign. We'd like to use the Random Sample condition to break our smart list into smaller chunks. However, when I use the flow step Add to List, the condition "random sample" is not an option in the dropdown. Its available as a filter step for Smart List, but not when used as part of an If statement with the Add to List flow step. Does anyone know why it might not be showing up as a condition?

Very strange... I've not had to use it for a while, but Itay's recommendation is the route I use when I want to keep the same sample across multiple emails in a program.

If this is a one-off test, you can go with Amber's recommendation and do the random sampling at the Send Email flow step level.

We actually do it a bit different. Instead of creating a list for our random sample, we do it at the send email level. Our lists are normal for the campaign. Then when we pick "Send Email" in the flow, we do an option so if random sample is whatever then send email 1a and the default is to send email 1b. We've never had a problem doing it that way and then we don't have to create separate lists for the random sample.

That's odd....I would open a ticket to support, as I don't see any reason for not having this option.
can you post your smart list also? are you doing this as part of a program?

Thanks for the note!

Unfortunately, it is not showing up in the dropdown as an option in my instance of Marketo:

We have the "Standard" pricing plan, so we should have access to this condition!

I can see "Random sample" as an option... this also appear in the "Random sample" article:
