Quick question about campaigns....

When you have a campaign set-up that the lead has run all the way through, but then want to add additional emails to (after the campaign is already in motion) does the lead get that new email you added? Or do you have to send them through a new campaign?

Basically, do standard campaigns work in the same way engagement streams work where everyone automatically gets the next peice of content in the stream?

Re: Quick question about campaigns....

Hey Erin,
If you add another Send Email flow step while the lead is running through the preceeding flow steps, it will receive the new email. However, leads often run through flow steps extremely fast and it is near impossible to add the extra flow step in time.

Because of this, it is recommended to create a new Smart Campaign to send the additional emails instead of adding to a currently running one.

Best,
Will

Re: Quick question about campaigns....

Will A is correct. To add to it a little more.

If you plan to continously send emails based on people that you import/or fill a form, you can run a trigger that triggers the send email flow action. This can be helpful, if you have a list/group that you plan on continously growing.
