Progressive Profiling on Non Marketo Landing Pages?

I read that Forms 2.0 allows you to enable progressive profiling on forms that are embedded on non-marketo landing pages. Has anyone successfully implemented this? I'm skepitcal that it will work, given that form pre-fill is not available on non-marketo landing pages. 

As a side note, I do have the munchkin tracking code on my non-marketo landing pages.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I've done it and it works. It's just the form-prefill that doesn't because of the security concerns of sending data back to an unsecure location. Determining if Marketo already has that data or not doesn't constitute the same security concern.
