Program Analyzer vs. Revenue Cycle Analytics

I am trying to do deep dives into Marketo capabilities, and still unsure what is the best approach to analyze our performance. Can someone help pinpoint what are the main differences between these two and when are they appropriate to use (or what types of business questions they answer?)

Thanks

Re: Program Analyzer vs. Revenue Cycle Analytics

Hi Isabel,

We are talking here of things of a different nature. Revenue Cycle Analytics is the global word in Marketo that includes some advanced reports and the Revenue Explorer.

The program analyzer will enable to compare programs one with others. You can group them by channel or compare individual programs. You can also limit the period of time. You can choose the 4 dimensions, which gives you the possibility to compare the program efficiency on almost all relevant KPI's. May of these KPIs are related to pipeline or revenue and in this case, you can use either a First touche or Multi touche attribution model.

On this type of useful reports, there is also the success path analyzer, that will enable you to understand the conversion rates, volumes and durations on the steps of your lead lifecycle (at least the ones that are in the success path).

Both the program analyzer and the success path analyzer are available from the Analytics section of Marketo, both are available on almost all versions on Marketo now (I am not sure on Spark), which was not the case in the past. Both will require you have set up a revenue cycle model.

The Revenue Explorer is not one report, it's a full datamart, refreshed daily, that you can manipulate on almost all dimensions to create comprehensive, multi-dimensional reporting. Of course, most of the info you can get in the 2 reports above are available in the Revenue Explorer, and much more. The Revenue Explorer is not available to all customers, only to the high editions of Marketo, or can be purchased as an option for the others, AFAIK.
