Preview email different from sample email

Hi guys, 

My preview email is perfectly fine but when I send a sample email (please see below) the grey box is no longer aligned with the body of the email as it should be.

You might also want to edit the email so that you have more room for flexibility in the layout.  Not sure how your template is structured, but by the looks of it, the main content/sidebar is a table row consisting of two table cells, nested within one main table cell.  Make sure the widths don't exceed the width of the main table cell - otherwise, content could be pushed below the first cell - like what's happening here.

By chance, do you have Windows scaling (defined in display settings - if using Windows) set to anything above 100%? We've had these same issues for users who have adjusted their Windows display setting to anything other than 100%. I wouldn't know. I just cloned that email from old emails sent by my predecessor.

I've seen this happen on one of the responsive emails I've used before, and I think it's either because the top graphic is too wide, or not wide enough, which is causing the gray box to drop down.  If you downloaded the file from templates.marketo.com, you should be able to see what the image size should be.

Do you have something in the gray box (that we can't see) that could be making the box wider than it's intended to be and forcing it to appear after/below the table cell on the left? A URL or long email address can often cause this.

Hi Justin,

It's like that for my desktop (sent it to both my work and personal emails too). The mobile version is fine as it just adjusted and moved it down as it is responsive.
