Pressing "Edit Code" on an email that uses modules reverts code back to original template

I was working on an email in marketing activities. The email I was using was running on a template that had drag and drop modules that I could use. I completed the email but wanted to remove the footer section of the template that was hard coded in. I clicked edit code on the email, removed the code for the footer and clicked save. My email was reverted back to the original template file and had removed all my modules that i had previously placed and added content to. Is there anyway that I can revert back to an older auto save of my code?

Hi Josh,

Have you already approved your email after you made the changes you mentioned? If you haven't approved your email since you made those unwanted changes, you can right click on your unapproved email and click "Discard Draft" (see screen below). That will revert your email code back to the version that was last approved which will hopefully be the version with all of the modules and content you had already placed.

Hopefully this helps!
