Operational emails and unsubscribe links

Hi all- 

We just noticed that our confirmation emails (operational) don't have our unsubscribe links at the bottom... is this just not included in operational emails or is there something we have set-up incorrectly?

We had problems with operational emails because our paid/sponsor subscribers are getting their expected publication emails, some have other means of accessing their publications.  Some wanted to opt out of the emails so we had to change it to non-operational to comply with their request.

Operational emails don't need to contain unsubscribe links to comply with CANSPAM due to their definition. If you are unsure whether an email is operational, I recommend erring on the side of unchecking that box.
