Multi Check box function code not working with Forms 2.0

Anyone have any luck converting this code to work with forms 2.0?  I have tried several different variations but not having any luck and I can't see any particular reason why it would work with the forms 1.0 and not the 2.0.

I created two identical forms one in 1.0 and one in 2.0 and the code only works with the 1.0 nomatter how I adjust. Any thoughts?

If you were thinking about this don't worry about it I changed my plans and am using the programs and CSS to get the results I wanted.
