lead owner field for Non SFDC users

Hi all
I am using the SOAP API.
Is there anyway to put data into Lead Owner Email Address/First Name/Last Name field?
The data are coming from  SQL server using JDBC and the API.

Hi Jack we dont use SFDC and I dont have a SOAP API link yet. I created my own salesmen fields and used these instead to link to my CRM. We will be looking to link to our CRM mid 2014 so if you find another solution let me know

The SOAP API only exposes fields that can be placed on a form.  Lead Owner fields are not exposed on the Form and hence not available for you to write to using SOAP.  A workaround would be to store the values in Custom Fields.  You can always copy the value over to Lead Owner fields from custom fields using Change Data Value flow action in a smart campaign.
