Hi Community,
When a lead is created our lifecycle program changes the person's program member status to MAL.
I then move them to SAL and our lifecycle program changes the person's program member status to SAL.
Then the person comes in through a form with an incorrect email.
We find this dupe and merge it in Ringlead (thus SF), which sync's the merge back to Marketo. During this ringlead merge, we prioritise the SAL value (further down the funnel) over the MAL one.
Marketo then decides to respect the 2nd (new) lead's program member status of MAL.
This causes my lifecycle field value (SAL) to de-sync with their program member Status (MAL).

Here is another question: If I have two leads in a program, with two different program statuses, then I merge those two leads in Salesforce, what exact logic does Marketo follow for deciding which person's program status the particular program to respect?
