I'm trying to make sense of the HTTP Reference in Landing Page Reports. They seems to come from 3 groups: 1)Google search: whatever word the lead looked up; 2) an long link from Googe; 3)blank links. When comparing these numbers to the number of clicks I get from Goodle AdWords, the results are different. For one of my landing pages, the number of clicks from Adwords is close to the number of visits that has "Google search:" as the HTTP reference. However, for my other landing page, "Google search:" is 0 while we had several clicks from AdWords. I'm pretty sure AdWorlds works well, so I'm guessing I'm just not understanding the numbers right. Does anyone know what the different sources actually mean so that I can better understand the landing page performances.
