HI There, Thanks for all the comments. I called the support line and there is no limit to how many progression steps you enter into a channel tag. I have my Marketo consultant coming into the office today and plan to review with him. It's a VERY long program flow, which breaks out into 5 different combination of flows, depending on how program member fills a form. I'll keep you posted.
I would love to understand how you are using the channel. And, I would like to echo that simpler is better. What are you hoping to get out of this with such a long flow?
I agree with Jeff and Adam. To the best of my knowledge there is no hard limit.
Setting a lrge number of steps would result in longer flows and increase the risk of selecting wrong options, resulting in fragmented views. Quoting Adam, simpler is better.
I've never experienced any sort of limit. I think the most i've ever made though was around 20. In general I think simplier is better, try and see how it could be streamlined.
