Is there a limit to how many steps I can put into a channel tag?

I have a really long Program flow and want to know if thers is a limit to how many steps I can put in a channel.

I have not heard of a limit. How many are we talking?

I've never experienced any sort of limit. I think the most i've ever made though was around 20. In general I think simplier is better, try and see how it could be streamlined.

I agree with Jeff and Adam. To the best of my knowledge there is no hard limit.

Setting a lrge number of steps would result in longer flows and increase the risk of selecting wrong options, resulting in fragmented views. Quoting Adam, simpler is better.

I would love to understand how you are using the channel.  And, I would like to echo that simpler is better.  What are you hoping to get out of this with such a long flow?

I called the support line and there is no limit to how many progression steps you enter into a channel tag. I have my Marketo consultant coming into the office today and plan to review with him.  It's a VERY long program flow, which breaks out into 5 different combination of flows, depending on how program member fills a form.  I'll keep you posted.
