Inactive campaign disabling

We have a number of campaigns specifically around our website content that tend not to get much activity. Recently a number of campaigns were disabled because of the 6 months with no activity on them. Unfortunately what this does is disable the flow that syncs the lead that converts on a form to SFDC.

Does anyone know if we have the ability to disable this feature or set some preferences around how this interacts with the campaigns that we have running?

I imagine a lot of users are going to run into this issue. I've also submitted it as an idea.

Hi Richard! I don't think there's a way to disable this in the admin section unless the Marketo support is able to help out with this. We have the same issue too with needing smart campaigns to remain activated and this article states that we you'll need to manually deactivate then reactivate the campaign so that it can reset the 6 month counter: http://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000LBEWCA4.
