I'm trying to map a custom SFDC field to an existing Marketo field.

Thank you ladies.   I thought this was going to be simplier.   Went ahead and logged at case with Marketo.

Hi Keith,

Unfortuantely, fields created in Marketo can not map to SFDC fields.

As a workaround, I would suggest creating a batch campaign to update the field that you created in SFDC (make sure this field is visible to Marketo first!) with the values currently in your Marketo field.

Batch:
SmartList: MarketoCreatedField is not empty
Flow: Change Data Value - SFDCMKTOField,  New Value = {{lead.MarketoCreatedField}}

Be sure to also remove all references to the Marketo field and have it update to the SFDC/MKTO field so you can find all your data in that field and can turn off the batch campaign.

Hi Keith, if this field existed in Marketo previously, you'll need to contact Marketo support to get the mapping completed.

I would highly recommend downloading all of the data currently in this field, as I've worked with Marketo to map a field before, and all of the data in the fields was erased once the mapping was completed.
