If you have multiple links in an email linking to the same page, you could append a url parameter to help track which link in the email they clicked. Let's say you were linking to your homepage in the banner, in the main content area and in a CTA button of your email, you could use these 3 links:
http://homepage.com?banner
http://homepage.com?maincontent
http://homepage.com?cta
This will distinguish these as 3 separate links in a Link Performance report even though they link to the same page. Not sure if this is exactly the answer you are looking for, but a good practice to implement either way.
