How to Convert Polish characters into CSV file for import

Hi there,

I have a list of leads form Poland. When I convert it into CSV for list import, it looks funny. I have followed the article on how to prepare list in non-English character for list import, but it doesn't seem to do the trick for Polish. Any suggestions or tricks?

Thanks so much.

1 are you on a mac or pc?
if you're on a PC, use CSV windows formatted as the file type in excel, rather than just the generic CSV.
if you're on a Mac, find a pc. I have never gotten good unicode results on my mac.

Re: How to Convert Polish characters into CSV file for import

I deal with Chinese characters on a weekly basis. I copy all of the data from the Excel file, paste it into notepad and save as UTF-8. I've never followed the steps outlined in the help article you provided - seems like a lot of extra work.

I tested my process out on Polish characters and it looks like it works:
