I am a fairly new Marketo user, so I would love to hear how other companies are using Marketo, more specifcally, how you are using Marketo to garner new leads. We would like to implement some forms on the website, but what are other methods to get those anonomyous leads and turn them into marketing qualified leads?
You can gain new leads using Marketo's social sharing capabilities and using the 'forward to a friend' in email communications. We've been using it for the last few months and have recevied net new leads from these sources.
Our sales reps will also use the anonymous web visitor reports to see what companies are on our website. Then they use LinkedIn, InisdeView, etc to the matching companies and job roles to those reports and add them to the database.
