Get rid of hidden progression statusses

I accidently updated the progression statusses of the wrong nurture channel (those of the engagement programs) right before it's introduction in July 2013. I have hidden some of the unneeded progression steps, but they still show up on the program summary pages, which is confusing for my users. How can these be removed?

I've encountered this too. It may end up being something the Marketo development team have a look at, so I'll stay subscribed to this thread with interest!

This gets on my nerves so much! I understand you can't delete them because it messes up the history but I wish the hidden values were actually hidden and that there was a cleaner way to change statuses. I usually name the status hidden or something.

Ugh yes this happened to me too and I thought it was just me.

Hi Kim, I like the idea to rename them (e.g. XXXXX, N/A).

I just realized this also happens when setting up a filter in a smart list to only include specific Program Statuses.  The list of options available includes EVERY type of program/channel status – including those that are part of HIDDEN channels.  Not only does this create a lengthy list of options, but our users may select an option that isn’t even valid (since it’s hidden) – and therefore the smart list will not produce the results as expected.
