Is anyone else having trouble with the "Forward a Friend" functionality for Sales Insight Email Templates? I would like to be able to create an email template with the forward a friend link so our sales reps can send an email with that ability to have their leads forward the email as well. So we can track it.
Unfortunately, not sure the best way to set this up using sales insight.
I haven't actually tried this before, but wouldn't you just add the token like you normally do to the email, approve it and then make it a Sales Insights available template?
Forward to a friend does not seem to work when you send a test email to yourself as there is no one actually attributed to that record. Try actually sending the email to yourself (find yourself in the lead database, go flow action, send email) and try it from there. Should work if you do that.
Yep, my email is in the database when I tested it. Not sure about the flow action because the scenario Im trying to replicate is a sales person using the email template with the forward link and adjusting the content before sending the email out.
Using a flow action is us building the campaign for them, which is a different scenario.
I'm talking more about when you test the email. If you just right click on the email and go 'Send Test', forward to a friend won't work if you send it to yourself that way. Just want to make sure that isn't the reason you are finding it not to work.
