Forms 2.0 - Field Sets within Progressive Profiling?

Is it possible to mimic a field set within a progressive profiling form (using Forms 2.0?)

I have a long form that is set up to have 2 fields always visible and then the rest show up in 2 field increments. I have a question that needs to be in a field set because it includes 3 checkbox fields and uses the field set title to include the question. I can set the field increments to 3 fields at a time, but I lose the title copy that I gain with the field set. Is there a way to mimic a field set within a progressive profile form?

Johnine - Can your 3 item question have multiple responses, or just one of the three? If you utilize a picklist and display the question as a checkbox, all three options could be part of the same question.
