Extra Space in between two Images in Emails

Hello Community,
I need to send an email which consists of lots of HTML content (including lots of Images and Links).
In a particular section of email I have two images side by side . (There should not be any gap in these images and should appear as one image).
This is working fine if I am opening an email in GMail/Yahoo Mail , however I am facing the issues while viewing that email in MS Outlook ! 
There is large gap (extra space) coming in between two images in Outlook , damaging the complete look and feel of the template. 
In fact when this same email is opened in "View this email in Browser" option from Outlook, it is absolutely working fine.

Can you guys help me in identifying the issue with the Outlook !

I'd just suggest using photoshop to put the two images side by side and re-save as one image to insert into your email. It's just plain easier to do this in many cases than worry about how different email platforms will render horizontal margin and/or padding differently.
