Engagement Programs - Globally Suppress

I'm starting an awareness engagement program for prospects in my database. In order to add them to the program, I will have clients and open pipeline suppressed. What happens if downstream, a few weeks into the engagement program, a prospect becomes an opportunity or client? How can I ensure they're suppressed from the engagement program and no longer receive emails?

Does the engagement program constantly re-evaluate selection criteria or does it only trigger when the program is initially executed?

Re: Engagement Programs - Globally Suppress

Hi Kim,
To do this you will need to set up a trigger campaign to remove the leads from the engagement program.

For example, you could have a campaign with the trigger "Added to Opportunity". You can then use the "Change Engagement Program Cadence" flow step and change the lead to paused or you can use the "Change Program Status" and change the lead to "not in program"

Another option is to indefinitely Pause them in the engagement program, this way you would not lose any metrics associated to them as a member of the program.  If you remove them, the metrics get deleted as well, and may give you a false representation of what is actually happening.
