The out-of-the-box email templates in Marketo don't have media queries in them; however, there is a large set of responsive email templates that you can download by chosing New | Import Program in the Marketing Activities tab and in the dialog box selecting Marketo Program Library in the Subscription field and Responsive Email Templates in the Import Program field. A program will be added in your Marketing Activities tab with a large number of responsive email examples and their corresponding templates will be added to the Email Templates folder in the Design Studio tab.
