Hi,
Has anyone got access to their 'email insights' dashboard? We still haven't got one, but I can't wait to see it.
Is it a live feed on the dashboard? What are the customization options like? Is it per campaign view or can you see all campaigns that are live?
Cheers,
Vibha.

Overarching filter is Workspace(s). That's great.
Out of the box filters/dimensions are 1) Lead country and state 2) Email Send, Program, Smart Campaign 3) device type and OS
Filtering works via searchbox, manually selecting/picking each item. So no filtering by "name contains", wildcards or regular expressions. You'll end up with a lot of clicking. Sadly the filter settings are not saved on the QUICK CHART function nor anywhere else, so that clicking needs to be done every time. I sure hope Marketo will improve the UX around this.
You can add another 10 dimensions - although I haven't seen any more documentation on this, which field/data type this supports.
If anybody hears this supports other data types than string, please let the community know. I'd like to see at least date, which can be collapsed/collated by month, quarter, year. If date/time are only interpreted as string I guess one needs to start building additional fields around those, like YY-QQ or YYYY-MM to get valuable insights, e.g. for a "Lead Created Month".
Hi all,
My understanding is that the roll out of the Email Insight is subject to hardware roll out and will not occur at the same time for all data center. It will start with San Jose. London will be quite later.
-Greg
Wondering what the status of the rollout is now that we're six months out from the release, as I have yet to see Email Insights in my instance. Looking forward to checking it out!
Hi Eileen,
What pod is your instance on?
On the London one, all the instance I can access now have email insight activated.
-Greg
Interesting! Not sure what my pod is but I'm in New York City. Perhaps I should reach out directly to my Marketo representative on this? I didn't want to be a pest since all the documentation was deliberately vague about a rollout schedule, but at this point I'm wondering if we'll ever get it!
Hi again Eileen,
Look at the URL of the Marketo app when you are connected to it. It will usually take the form of https://app-XXX99.marketo.com/... where XXX are 2 or 3 letters that gives you the pod. JS stands for San Jose and LON for London.
Some others can be found here: How do I know on which pod my instance is running ?
-Greg
The plot thickens, mine starts with SJ!
Which, as far as I know was the 1st pod to get email insight. It shows as a tile on the My Marketo screen.
-Greg
Yes, that's what I have been looking forward to. No tile in My Marketo and no option listed under the superball menu either. I've even been poking around in Admin to see if this is something I need to enable (like the email 2.0 editor) but nothing there either! It may be time to log a ticket. Thanks for your guidance, Greg!
Indeed there is nothing to do to have it enabled. But you should receive an email a little in advance before the feature is enabled. This email, amongst other things, reminds you that you can create segmentations in your DB in order to use them as custom reporting dimensions in Email Insight.
And you are welcome
-Greg
Will the new Email Editor appear in treasure chest to start with?
Hi Sally,
No, it will just be there but will not be activated by default.AFAIK (we done some intensive testing), the only way know it's here is togo to the admin->email. If it is activated, an "Edit Email Editor Settings" button will be available at the top of the screen. Click it to access the dialog in which you will activate it.

We haven't seen it yet... Nor have we received the email editor. I think the rollout is taking some time, as it tends to do with any large release that Marketo does.
I have not seen that yet either
